About Me :)

Well, let's see... Tell you about myself... Talking about myself isn't really one of my strong suits but, I will give it a shot.

Hey there readers! My name is Kimberly Moon (Day) and I am a 28 year young woman who has recently taken a leave of absence from her career to be an army wife. For those who know me, know I have already been married before and vowed never to do it again. Well... as you see, it didn't really work out that way. God had another plan for me. I married the man of my dreams and best friend of all time, Christopher Lee Moon. Since October 17, 2013, my life has been a very interesting experience so far.

In 2010, I started working as a paralegal for only 6 hours a day; in addition to my full time management job at Papa Johns Pizza. The part-time job grew into a full time salary position. My responsibilities grew as well. About a year into my job, I was responsible for EVERYTHING in the office, except litigation in Court, of course. The amazing attorney I worked for pushed me to go back to College to finish my Bachelor's degree. Even with all the hard times and crap holes that I went through while trying to get back on my feet and accomplish receiving this degree, I not only got my Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice but I also graduated on the dean's list (2 out of the 3 semesters), and with a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution, in mid-May of 2012.

There were many struggles for me from the time I left my first husband in 2009 until becoming friends with my husband. When he came into my life, all the unnecessary crap stopped and it just felt right. My life dramatically changed, but for the better. :)

For the entire four years that I had known him, he was always talking about re-enlisting for active duty with the Army. Well, since we had "officially" started dating I could tell him how I honestly felt. Those who know me know it came out a little like this, "Well, if that's what you want then f*cking do it already! I'm tired of hearing about it!" Lol. So, he did. We waited months for his orders for him to go back to Basic Combat Training since he had switched his MOS. During these months he was worried about how I was going to be taken care of. (He refused to let me do it myself, even though I HAD been doing it for years!) We went over multiple scenarios and the one we decided on was marriage. Orders came, we got married, and off he went. November 18, 2013 was the beginning to my new life as an Army wife.

While he was gone, I continued with my career, made multiple trips to Georgia and back, and prepared for our first move. Graduation day came and on into Airborne... That's when it all became too real! I left my career, my family, the only home I have EVER known, and eventually PCS'd to Germany in September 2014.

Since being over here and being an Army wife it is hard to hold down a career while moving around so much. So in November 2014 I decided to go ahead and get my Paralegal Certificate to add to my work experience hoping that would help me nail down some jobs in the future. But here, impossible to get a good job. Careers - nonexistent.

So that's where I am now. In Germany. No career. No job opportunities. No kids. Just my furbabies and time. I struggle daily with not working (I have always worked and can't STAND to be bored), but have found ways to keep myself occupied and happy. Pinterest, games, online sites to earn money & gift cards. I also have two home-based businesses, Southern Charm Creations and Independent Avon Representative, where I try and help make our ends meet. I love crafting, scrapbooking, and have gotten back into writing. I love to cook and bake (and eat of course), dally in some photography (Kimberly Moon Photography) and a little bit of traveling.

I don't think there is much else to tell about me. In Spring 2017 we are scheduled to leave here. I can't wait to see where our next adventure is going to take us. Hawaii (or anywhere warmer than here) is what I am hoping for... :)
